As of yesterday, the 10th of October, 2014, there were only two interviews that referenced Avenged Sevenfold. Both of these interviews will be included in today’s article, as both will shed some light on the actual tone of the band members guitars.

Then in 2015, IK Multimedia released AmpliTube Metal. This was a huge leap for them, because before, they only had AmpliTube Pro, which was geared towards recording and engineers, not the guitar player who just wanted to sound cool while playing his instrument. We wanted to build something that would work on any guitar, from £40.00 onwards and this was the perfect opportunity to do that. So they started with the amplifier selection, Kye Moore on the job. But what a difference! This is a huge step forward for guitarists! now we have AmpBilly from the Black Label series in the AmpliTube Metal engine. This gave us the ability to have thousands of high quality amp emulations so that we could build on this and expand to another version called the Metal II. So now we have classic Marshall, Fender, MXR, Seymour Duncan, and more. For example, the Seymour Duncan models are a 12 and 24 character model name. Let’s not forget about external speakers, either. To add another level of realism, AmpliTube Metal has a fantastic speaker simulator in it’s metal companion edition, AmpliTube Metal METALS! This is a simulated version of IK Multimedia’s famous IKM4 kicker speaker emulation model, which is called METALS. We have now released two artist collections to celebrate AmpliTube 5.
