Search files inside RAR files using filenames, extensions, file sizes, file contents or for certain patterns like strings. SeaRCHZIPRar does search by default across all files in all archives in all folders on a disk drive. ZIP or RAR archives can contain as many folders as the user likes. The user may optionally specify the archive files location on the hard drive by specifying the drive letter(s) and path (drive and path are separated by a forward slash or “/”). SeaRCHZIPRar provides a DOS command line utility to look inside ZIR or RPM databases. The tool requires the user to supply the zip / rpm archive file path. SeaRCHZIPRar can also be run from the command prompt and execute the DOS COMMAND.COM command (each command line switch must be a single line). Then the results from all the found files can be viewed in a listing in the same fashion as the results from a search of hard drive files with SeaRCHZIPRar DOS command line utility.
