the console is 6.2 inches tall, and it weighs about 4.6 pounds. it has a diagonal screen size of 6.2 inches. the device is a little bit large for a handheld, but it is perfect for a portable gaming system.
a new generation of people who grew up with the snes and genesis will love this thing. i am predicting that nintendo will dominate this market for a long time, just like it did with the game boy. even if people still prefer their home consoles, this device will bring nintendo quality portable games in a very convenient way.
it seems like nintendo is trying to go too far with this one. the screen is small, the battery life is short and the fans are loud. for a $400 device, this is not acceptable. i think nintendo should have simply announced a new portable console and not gotten into the portable gaming pc business.
but because of the hype, i can see people buying these devices. in the end, they will be disappointed. i’m talking about the fans of nintendo here. they love nintendo. they will want to be able to play mario and zelda on a portable device. they will want to have the best nintendo experience that they can get. this will disappoint them.
the single system i recommend right now is the gpd win 3. i’m not sure if you already know this one cause i’m pretty sure most of you already know what a gpd win is so let’s talk about the reasons why i recommend it over the three other portable pcs i already mentioned. first, it has a big screen, like 40″ but it’s not as big as the rx515 from the poc gaming (which is not really portable), it has a big battery life, like 12 hours of battery life, which is more than most of the other portable pcs. the poc gaming has a 15″ screen and has only 8 hours of battery life. the rx515 has a 15″ screen and only 5 hours of battery life.
