Hello, I am just getting my car back from the mechanic (it was diagnosed as an oil leak at his shop) and I’m getting a little paranoid about getting it back on the road. It’s a 1999 Chevy S10 Diesel truck. The mechanic told me that he could only find one of the spark plugs with a leak from the oil. He said that it did not make a lot of sense, but that when he switched the spark plugs with his other side, the oil stoped leaking. Here is the question: If I had 2 spark plugs that leaked oil at the same time, how could they possibly be plugged into the same engine (unless of course, the mechanic switched the plugs)?
