the game installed perfectly.i was able to play through very little of the game and then i gave up.this was because the game crashed very frequently,it sometimes crashed upon start up,sometimes during loading screens and sometimes during the game play.another reason i gave up playing the game is because there is a glitch,after you do the b4d4 mission and regain control of your own character,atton and kreia(your companions) are nowhere to be seen,they were supposed to spawn in when you regain control of your character.i also downloaded kotor 1 but when i try to open the game it says the application has stopped working.please i beg you re-upload these games in a working condition,i really want to play them.
in other words, the game’s early portions play out as you’d expect, until you’re invited to get your hands dirty with side-quests and the like. during this time, you’re going to be faced with a host of new challenges, one of which is the ability to wield weapons such as the dual-wielded lightsaber and the dual-blaster. you can even build your own lightsaber, but the toolkit’s limited in this regard. other features include the ability to command various droids, and a level-up system that finally throws in a “perk” button where you can unlock special “skills” – at the risk of damaging your character. the former makes kotor 2 a more interesting rpg, while the latter is a nice touch to differentiate the characters, and should also make playing a little bit more challenging.
the most important aspect of any game is its presentation, and kotor 2 delivers, with pleasing visuals, crisp animation and solid voice-acting. it’s still the same game on the inside, though, and we’ll get to that when we talk about the gameplay. the rest of the package is pretty much what you’d expect from a bioware rpg, but it’s a welcome addition to the series nonetheless. the story itself comes under scrutiny, however, with several prominent and recurring characters only getting the faintest of nods, or becoming more of a generic entity that exists simply to teach you a lesson. the game also suffers from a few minor framerate issues, but it’s not a deal-breaker and the game is a true winner regardless.
