That young man is the protagonist, and his name is Evan. He takes a job at the local general store, and then one day, he encounters a strange girl at the store named Raven. She is bathed in light, and it is said that if you make a wish upon a star, she will grant it. Then, there is an earthquake. A young man named Zack appears, who was previously banished to the Otherworld. His appearance makes Raven feel uneasy, as she is connected to the Otherworld through the star. Zack appears to be a descendant of the King of the Otherworld, but he is not. His appearance is a mistake that Raven made, and she insists that she cannot return to the Otherworld. While Zack is with Raven, the general store is caught in an earthquake, and Evan rescues Zack and Raven from falling rocks. A little later, Evan and Zack are traveling around the country, and they come across a castle made of concrete. The name of the castle is Tiamat Castle. At the castle, they hear the name of the King of the Otherworld. The King requests that they bring a star, which if used together with the bow and arrow, one can use to unleash the powers of the King. This bow is called the Elden Ring. From there, the story picks up. Evan and Zack head into the demon-infested ruins of the Kingdom of Tiamat to find the bow and arrows, and open the door to the kingdom. Reception Reviews The game received generally favorable reviews from critics. IGN called it an “exciting action RPG”, and that “Shattered Memories delivers a rich fantasy experience that will keep you engrossed for hours.” GameSpot gave it a “Good” rating, and wrote that “Adventure seekers looking for a unique sandbox experience should explore Shattered Memories.” The game has a rating of 79.55% on Metacritic.
